Grafis Huru Hara, or known as GHH, is a Jakarta-based printmaking collective,
established in 2012. GHH focuses on explorative, experimental, and educational methods
of printmaking as the main medium. GHH has 8 members now, there are Adi Setiawan,
Adi Sundoro, Amy Zahrawaan, Anita Purniawati, Ariffal Nur Arochman, Bhakti Tanza
Luthfi, Panji Purnama Putra dan Riezky Hana Putra.

Huru Hara (riot) which is literally translated has a close meaning to commotion, chaos, and
chaos in this case is interpreted as a game of ideas that melts the boundaries that exist in
         graphic arts in general.

Grafis Huru Hara Studio has the principle as an art laboratory to become a space for
exploration and education for various graphic techniques and their development.
Collective studio work is an inherent characteristic of GHH's creative process.

Grafis Huru Hara studio is like an art laboratory, as a space for exploration and experiment
with various printmaking techniques and their developments. Like a scientist, a print artist
does not only dwell in the studio but the principles and context of the printmaking itself
actually dissolve in the daily lives of many people.

In 2018, ruangrupa together with Serrum and Grafis Huru Hara initiated GUDSKUL:
Contemporary Art Collective and Ecosystem Studies (or, for short, GUDSKUL,
pronounced like “good school” in English), a public learning space. GUDSKUL is
designed as a collective working simulation study space that promotes the importance of
critical and experimental dialogue through a sharing process and experience-based
learning. we tried to set a system of “lumbung” (rice barn in bahasa) where every resource
we have is collected and shared in proportion to every collective need. The various
resources from every collective comes in many forms: money, program, equipment or
even books. We pooled those assets for easier access and sharing for every member of
         the collective.
